With a diverse background in aesthetic medicine, internal medicine, and psychiatry, Dr. Carl Sonder directs Adam & Eve Medical Aesthetics clinics with patient-centered practices and physician-supervised treatments. Under Dr. Sonder’s guidance, we are able to use the most advanced medical technology, to offer unmatched medical services for our patients. In addition, Dr. Sonder leads our clinics to maintain a strict adherence to the highest medical standards.

Dr. Sonder’s dedication to excellence is evident in his academic history at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors. From there, he went on to study medicine at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and too graduated with honors. Following medical school, Dr. Sonder moved to New York City, where he studied general internal medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, ranked among the leading medical schools in the nation. Service to his country was next in his long line of achievements, as Dr. Sonder served for two years in the military in Vietnam as a general medical officer, focusing on the care of severe burn victims. It was here that he began to develop his passion for skincare and aesthetic medicine. After working with the U.S. military, Dr. Sonder returned to New York, where he completed a second training in neuropsychiatry at the Weill Cornell Medical College at Cornell University and became board certified in psychiatry and neurology in 1978. Remaining in New York, Dr. Sonder then pursued the practice of internal medicine and psychiatry in New York City for the next 25 years. While building his practice, Dr. Sonder continued to seek out cutting edge treatments for patients, and still found time to conduct a weekly radio talk show on new developments in the field of neuroscience. Upon his relocation to Arizona in 1999, Dr. Sonder’s interest in aesthetic medicine developed further as he undertook a series of courses, seminars, workshops, and trainings in both aesthetic technology and hands-on cosmetic procedures.

He has become a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Physicians, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, and of the American College of Cosmetic Surgeons. He continues to pursue innovative developments in his field, having recently been elected to the American Academy of Hyperbaric Physicians as a result of his experience and certification in utilizing hyperbaric oxygen chamber therapy. While not working, Dr. Sonder lives in Scottsdale and enjoys family time, music, and literature. As the medical director of Regency and Adam & Eve Medical Aesthetics, and a well-respected and versatile member of the medical field, Dr. Carl Sonder supervises a team of physicians and technicians in the practice of aesthetic medicine, bringing the best medical aesthetics services to the Phoenix area.

Dr. Michele Janson N.M.D.

Dr. Janson began her career in medicine at the University of Arizona, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Physiology, and with such devotion and love for the body, she was a continuous board member for the U of A Physiology Club. To further her career, she attended the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, here in Tempe, Arizona. After receiving her title as Naturopathic Medical Doctor, she immediately delved into the world of medical aesthetics. As her passion for the industry grew, she furthered her knowledge and skillset attending the National Laser Institute, where she obtained certifications for Laser, Advanced Botox and Fillers, Platelet-Rich Plasma therapy, sclerotherapy, as well as Feminine  Rejuvenation.

Nicole received her nursing degree in Southern California and has over 18 years of nursing experience. She has practiced in pediatrics, plastic surgery, dermatology and for the past 10 years in medical aesthetics.

Nicole has attended many advanced training classes and is experienced in the following treatments along with several other anti-aging, wellness and skin rejuvenation solutions.

Marisa, a mother of two little girls, graduated with a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University. She spent her new grad years as a nurse on the neuro trauma unit. Since then, she has fervently pursued her career as a nurse injector. Marisa’s passion fuels her energy in aesthetics. This practicality provides an effective environment for her patients, informing and educating and tailoring each treatment with each individual to achieve their desired goals. Marisa strongly believes that treatment should produce natural looking results and is committed to offering tailored treatment plans to enhance each person’s features. Marisa offers this optimistic and uplifting viewpoint, “When you are happy with the way you look, you are happy with the way you feel, which creates happiness from the inside out.”

With her 20 years of experience in the aesthetic field, our veteran practitioner Rebecca is known for her artistic eye and compassionate patient-centered care. Rebecca is a native Arizonian and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and has been certified by the National Laser Institute since 2010. She is dedicated to continued education to discover and practice the most innovative, anti-aging treatments including:

With a commitment to excellence and a dedication to continual learning, Heather Thomas is a sought-after medical aesthetician/certified laser technician at Regency Medical Aesthetics. A native of Arizona, Heather attended Corona del Sol, and then went on to attend the National Esthetics Institute of Scottsdale. She graduated from the National Aesthetics Institute of Scottsdale in 2001 and is certified by the Board of Radiation for Lasers. Heather has a love of dermatology and plastic surgery, and spent five years working under the best plastic and cosmetic surgeons in the Valley, learning the specifics of high caliber skin care and the most effective ways achieve maximum results. She has worked for the top dermatologists and plastic surgeons. Heather is a trainer for Lumenis Laser Company for hair removal, Intense Pulsed Light, also known as photo facials or photo rejuvenation and more. Heather takes pride in keeping up with the latest classes and certifications needed to excel at her career. Heather is highly skilled, compassionate and dedicated to her clients, who rely on her for her exceptional knowledge and expertise in the industry.

Jennifer is one of our most esteemed Aestheticians due to her years of clinical experience, as well as the warmth and rapport she has with her patients. Jennifer’s career in Aesthetics began in 1996. She became the Head Aesthetician at a leading med spa in Southern California & received her Instructors License, teaching at Euphoria Institute of Beauty Arts and Sciences in Las Vegas. She graduated from the National Laser Institute receiving her certification through the ARRA as a certified Laser Technician. Jennifer began her career with Adam & Eve in 2011 and trained under the direction of Dr. Nicholas J. Soldo with Lumenis IPL photo facials for the treatment of Rosacea and Photo damage. Jennifer is committed to learning and offering the latest technology in the Aesthetics Industry. Her other specialties include Microneedling, Ultherapy, Body Sculpting, Dermaplaning, customized skincare treatments for acne, premature aging, sun damage, and laser hair reduction.

Caitlin has attained 7 years of customer service, retail sales, spa management experience and 5 years of aesthetic experience. Caitlin is a graduate from Carsten Aveda institute with two separate licenses in Cosmetology and Aesthetics. She decided that she wanted to be able to do more for her patients and their skin, so she attended National Laser Institute to receive her license in Laser. She has advance training in chemical peels, micro-needling, eye lash extensions, age prevention, and severe acne treatments. She enjoys learning the newest modalities, such as Ultherapy, and several product lines. She is very excited to join this team and enhance her career as a medical aesthetician.
